Visitor comfort & safety notice

The Old Police Cells Museum is a historic, underground site. Visitors should be aware that conditions may include uneven floors and steps, variable lighting levels, limited ventilation, and variable temperatures. During winter months the cells and corridors can be warm.

We encourage visitors to take care while moving around the site. Face masks are available on request for anyone who would prefer to use one.
